I guess the price to pay for a three day weekend (Friday-Sunday) is working five days in a row (today-Thursday). Which is also pretty good, because the 8th-10th is when one of the ways to work is closed for bridge work.

I'm finding that I'm watching a lot of anime lately, since the beginning of the year. It was mainly because I could watch and play Pokemon at the same time (coincidentally, I got Platinum about the same time my surge in watching began), as Pokemon doesn't take very much attention to play. Best thing I've watched recently - Summer Wars. Very good movie.

I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue is back. This makes me happy.
I've been listening to a lot of BBC Radio, too, over the last year. Why I no like American entertainment?

It finally cooled off in the last week - sort of. Well, at least it finally rained and stormed a lot, so the temperature finally dropped below 80F for a few days, only to jump back up to 90F+ today. And with The Weather Channel calling for "isolated thunderstorms" over the next week, this should be interesting. Although, they say that all the time anyway, so who knows?

Also, SUNDAY OFF SUNDAY OFF SUNDAY OFF SUNDAY OFF. The first one in a month. And I did have to raise a stink about it, because I already said once that I wanted the same every-other-Sunday that everyone else gets. So I have a whole weekend of possible stuffs if I can just make it through the next three days.

Also also, The World God Only Knows - they need to stop making it in 12 episode bites. While 24 episodes so far have covered 39 of the first 41 chapters (I think the last episode of season 2 will cover those other two chapters), there's still another 106 chapters to go (so far). And that's if it continues for a third season or beyond. And I'd like to know if the manga will ever be translated. I'd actually buy it if it were.

I remember watching Witch Hunter Robin back when Adult Swim was for anime Cartoon Network wouldn't play during the day. I remember that I liked it, but I never managed to watch the entire thing, about ten or so episodes in the middle. So I went back and watched it all over during the last week and a half.

It didn't really hold up. It wasn't bad, like terrible bad, more like mediocre bad. It's something I did like way back then, when I didn't know any better about good storytelling and characterization. It kind of makes me wonder if anything else I think I liked still holds up. With as much Internet access as I have now, I am going back and watching over some of the stuff I used to watch and may or may not have completed. Outlaw Star comes to mind, actually, because all I do remember is that I have it in my head that it's similar to Cowboy Bebop, which I find has held up even after all this time. And I kind of don't want to go back and find out it's not as good as I remember, that it'll turn out like WHR did.

Well I feel completely and utterly trolled. Thanks Gainax!

Bought Deathspank on Steam this morning. At least I bought it then when it was 50% off and didn't wait until tonight when it went back to 33% off.

A Christmas Story tonight! I'll see how many times I can get through it.

Should probably get around to reading it, too.

Also, finished KH: BBS, at least story-wise. Even though I knew what would happen, it still depressed me a little.

I LOVE YOU JAPAN.

In other news, I'm really fucking tired. I slept all of two hours last night, and I'm this close to crashing completely. At least I'm off tomorrow.
