Well, I'm caught up... to yesterday. All I can really say is that I would like to reach 10,000 before the end of tomorrow, and not sometime after midnight on Monday.

I showed my brother Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog tonight. He seemed to like it, even if he didn't quite understand everything.

I got new shoes on Sunday, because my old ones are shot all to hell. And apparently they were too big. Somehow, I'm down to a 10 1/2, and I used to wear up to a 12. Either my feet are shrinking or shoes are being made bigger.

I also got the Dr Horrible book on Sunday. There's still nothing on what Nathan said on the therapist's couch at the end of Act 3. Plus I got Dave Barry's History of the Millennium (So Far) and Sherlock season 1.

Since my Internet was fucked up Tuesday night, I ended up trying Persona 4. And maybe it's just because I only played the first 5 days or so (just enough to be able to use the menu), but I didn't like it too much over the third one. Although, I thought P3 was kind of slow in the beginning too, so I have a little ways to go to get anywhere interesting.
But I finally understand why everyone has glasses in a lot of the fanart.
And related to Persona 3, I found this recently, and it's cute:

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

And I finally found a copy of Jeanne d'Arc at GameStop yesterday, so I bought it. I probably should have checked it in store, but when I got it home, the disc casing was split half open. Thankfully, it runs fine, minus the lag in some places, though I did have to tap the back of my PSP at one point to get it started again.
But it's a lot of fun. I spent the morning playing around with it and almost finished the first chapter.

Some time ago, I found the Watchmen Motion Comics at Target for $13. I've watched only the first chapter so far. I like how it's animated, as rudimentary as it is (legs swing like pendulums for walking), but one guy doing all the voices, female included, kind of throws it off. I'd like a little differentiation between Dan and Laurie, please.
Plus I finally sat down and watched all the special features for Dr. Horrible. Now I wish I had mp3s of Commentary: The Musical.

It's the night before Christmas, and that means...

24 hour Christmas Story marathon!

I spent Monday in bed with the same stomach flu Nathan had over the weekend, only getting up twice, as those two times I managed to find myself over the toilet with my stomach flipped inside out. And even when I recovered early Tuesday morning, I still had a minor fever, so I skipped work that day too. And then I went in today and, for the first time, got my share of the food that I'd normally miss working nights.

Even earlier than that, I finished GrimGrimoire last week, playing it in less than a week and logging in only 15 hours or so.

Spoilers for the uninitiated )

And so far, I've only done the first floor of KH: Re:CoM, up through Axel I. And since the map is round (and 3D) instead of rectangular, Axel's Flame Wall teleports him to the middle and radiates fire across the entire arena. On top of that, he can play a combo with a single card.

Pros:
Dodge Roll is much easier to use
Much easier to dodge attacks, stock cards for sleights

Cons:
With Dodge Roll on Square and the camera on the right joystick, it's hard to control both
Depth is a little off, sometimes I ended up running into a Heartless trying to stun them
Breakable objects don't respawn, even after reloading, making farming for cards/MP harder

I haven't played since Friday, though. Saturday, I got my copy of Dr. Horrible, finally, Sunday I napped and had to help digging through Christmas decorations, and you know what happened after that.

Speaking of Dr. Horrible, all I've done with it is watch it with the Wiccan (yes, Wiccan) subtitles. I haven't played with the hidden Easter eggs yet, but I've figured out how to get to them (by waiting for other people to do it for me xD).

I now have Captain Hammer's shirt. Pic(s) of me being a corporate tool to come later, maybe the next time I get a night off.
