It took me three weeks into this semester to get a folder for class. My notebook is too small to hold the handouts all the way in, and so they bend up a bit. And now I have something to keep my papers in.

Also fast food that's not Chick Fil-A. For the first time in a while. And now I don't want any more for a while again.

Last night was a waste. It was busy from when we got there (9pm), then trickled off and died out by 11:30. And then absolutely no one until about 4:30. Although it was nice, not having people in the way all the time. No one asking "Where's this?" "Where's that?" "Where's the bathroom?" "Where's this department that's clearly labeled by a large hanging sign that I refuse to read?"

Also, I just had cookies for dinner. Take that.

The pleasure of having food in one's belly overrides the pain of hot food in one's mouth.
That's why I ended up burning my tongue on the way home from McDonald's.
And apparently all boys try to eat food too hot for consumption, at least according to my sister.

Jesus rose from the dead so that I could have chocolate. And ham. And mashed potatoes. Copious amounts of potatoes. Which I will proceed to digest. Which is what Tiggers do best.

Also, I don't even know if you read this, but happy birthday Aubrey! I'm still 9 days older than you. xP

69%, lol.

Right now, my novel is:

A) Serious and not serious at the same time (Schrödinger's humor?)
B) Turning into a prequel/prologue of sorts with all the backstory and lack of action
C) Finally developing plot, though too early and unconnected to the rest of the story
D) All of the above

If you picked D, you're correct! In regards to B), should it turn out that way, I at least have plans for next November.

I think I've gone through phases where I like McDonald's, and then I hate it. Or maybe it's just that when I do get it, it's a bunch of times in a row until I'm sick of it, and then a period without. Well, the period without is over-ish. My craving for McDonald's has been fulfilled. Although, to be fair, I could have been craving Chik-Fil-A, because I got a chicken sandwich, and the nearest Chik-Fil-A is too far away for effective takeout. Plus Chik-Fil-A has better chicken and fries.

I think when this is all over, I'm going to get KH: CoM, since, luckily, it comes out 12/2. At the same time, I think I'll go for this at the same time, because I've been waiting long enough with all the pushbacks. Also no word on Disgaea 2, Vol. 4's US release date, though Vol. 3 was pushed back to 1/1/09. T_T Or maybe I'll spring for a new, larger external HD. The one I have now is almost 4 years old, and I'd hate to have it crash on me.

It's that time of the year again! The time when weight means nothing, when "How many calories?" is thrown out the window. When copious amounts of food and candy are consumed with no regard to diet, at least until the first of the year.

Well, yeah, it's that triumvirate of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas too, but that's not what I refer to.

White fudge dipped Oreos are back! Sometimes I forget they're out this time of year already.

I can feel my arteries clogging already, and I haven't even opened them yet.

Toward Target: Yes! I can do this! I might not be in the best of shape, but I can make it. Holy crap, huge truck!

Toward home: Ow! I can't do this anymore! Oh god, cramp. I would give anything for a saw, even a rusty one. Holy crap, huge truck!

Total mileage: 6-7, give or take.
Total time: 1 hour each way, probably more on the way back.

Target wasn't the only place I went. I started at Best Buy, where I wanted to see the prices on the series I ordered on Saturday (Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Freakazoid, and Tiny Toons). Of those, they only had the last two, and at a higher price. So, I guess I'll have to wait (estimated delivery between 10/4-10/10).

Instead, I got a bunch of movies at $10 a pop.

Shoot Em Up (a second copy, since the first one "didn't work"
Hot Fuzz
History of the World Pt. 1
Count of Monte Cristo
Employee of the Month

Now, speaking of "not working". Neither disc works in my PS2. Neither one works in any video player on this computer... except one: QuickPlay. And they both work. So now I'm stuck with two open copies, which means, even if I had the receipt, all I'd get is a replacement copy.

Which is a funny thing to say. "If" I had the receipt. Somehow I lost the first one on the same day I got it, despite having every other receipt from that day. The other? I have no fucking clue, but it managed to disappear sometime while I was walking home, right out of my pocket. Yet I still have the receipts from Target. It's like that movie is cursed or something.

All I got at Target was a bunch of candy (KitKat, Crunch, Payday, and Butterfinger), all at $2 a bag. Screw the trick or treaters, I have my stomach! Even if it is still over a month until Halloween.

Speaking of holidays still not here, it's only 93 days until The-Holiday-Which-Not-Be-Named. You know, the one with red and green, the trees, the lights, the tinsel, and the presents. There are already trees up and lit at KMart, and I saw decorations at Target, with Halloween signs hung up right over them. This comic is relevant, except push the first date back 6 weeks. -_-
