Getting gas in the rain - bad idea. Wet, I became.

Also, no three day weekend. Just two day weekend with yesterday off. And it looks like I might not get a whole weekend off again for a long time.

The Half-Blood Prince, much like the book, was also boring as a movie. And it managed to be too dark in some scenes to see anything.

The trailer for the last Harry Potter looks so freaking epic. T_T It makes me want to get the previous two (because I still don't own them) and watch them. And possibly replace my copy of OotP, if only because I want the two-disc edition for the extras, as it is the only one I have that doesn't have all those extras.

This year is not off to a good start. I made a whole three entries last month.

I haven't been to the movies in a little over 3 years. That was when I was forced to go see the first Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. This time, I was forced to go out and see Just Go With It. Which, being an Adam Sandler movie, I was already ready to write off as bad, completely forgetting what the movie even was despite having seen a bunch of commercials already.
But, in all actuality, it wasn't all that bad. Just not really worth the price of admission. It's something I'd probably watch later on TV. And it was even two hours long.
But it also reminded me (other than the commercials) that Sucker Punch is coming out soon. I'd have rather seen that.

And, since only a block away was a Barnes & Noble, we walked over there. And I ended up getting two books for my sister, one for my brother, and I got myself Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I almost also got a collection of short mystery stories by Agatha Christie, but it all would have been too expensive.

I almost want Pokemon Black. Except for the legendary dragon (I'd rather have the Dragon/Electric instead of Dragon/Fire, and I like Fire types), the few I do like and want are in it, including one White exclusive that's in an in-game trade anyway. But I'll just wait for the inevitable third and improved version.

I think I'm done with post-Christmas shopping. Except maybe one thing. I'd still really like to own Sherlock.

Continuing from the two books I bought on Friday, I also got two movies (The Great Mouse Detective and Pirate Radio, the former because it's my favorite Disney movie and the latter because I just saw it recently and loved it). I also got Pokemon Platinum (finally), and if I can ever figure out how to set up the WiFi, it might actually prove to be useful. Also, there aren't enough fire types, and I don't like the starter monkey.

Slept for somewhere between 12-13 hours. Not straight, because I woke up twice to go to the bathroom. But even at 6am, I was still tired and could have slept longer.

Also, I watched Clue last night before I fell asleep. I will never get tired of that movie.

I imagine it's just a lung. It couldn't be anything else.

34683 / 50000 words. 69% done!

69%, lol.

So, I don't have class anymore until the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
Well, sort of. I have to finish off the drawing he assigned tonight, print it, and turn it in. I can fix it at home, because I have the student version of AutoCAD, but I can't print it because it's 11x17.
But all I have to do is fix the scale. Thankfully, I managed to finish the drawing itself. But the dimensions are very very very tiny compared to the drawing itself.

After today (which is almost over anyway), I get to work seven days in a row. I don't have off again until next Friday, and it's my only day off next week. I get six 8-hour days (eight of them at time-and-a-half), plus the fact that I get eight hours during Thanksgiving that's also time-and-a-half.
Plus, I get to work Wednesday and Thursday nights. Which means I don't have to work Thursday and Friday days. Which, thank god, because I might actually hurt someone next Friday.

I have had the sudden urge to watch 300 lately. I think when I am actually done with my NaNo I'm going to have a big movie marathon.

Ha, you really thought I'd have a Sunday off. I wish.
But from 2pm tomorrow until 10am Tuesday, I'm pretty much free to do what I want.
Kind of. Placement tests Tuesday morning, hopefully meet with a counselor after (or after work, if I'm unlucky), though with any luck, I'll start classes on Wednesday. That's if I have any on that day, that is.\

Got In Bruges on Tuesday, and watched it Thursday.
Cut for spoilers )

I also finally put Persona 3 down (got bored of it, even though I just wanted to get to the end with all S.Links maxed) and started Persona 4.
Cut for the uninterested )

And I got my dad a grill for his birthday. But I had to give it to him Tuesday (and early) because I would have killed myself getting it back out of the car.
